The below size charts will help you get the right fit, even when shopping online.
There are generally two sizing types for cycling jerseys: American and European. Simply put, American sizing reflects standard measurements for chest/waist, etc. If you wear apparel size Large, then an American-sized jersey in size Large should fit nicely.
BUT WAIT! Cycling jerseys are designed to fit close to the skin so they will wick sweat and keep you comfortable. Many Americans are not comfortable with such a close-fitting feel. Some jersey manufacturers design jerseys with a relaxed or "club cut" fit. This style allows for extra room in all areas so that the fit is more loose.
A few jerseys, such as our "Old Guys Who Get Fat in Winter" jersey, are cut over-sized. We'll warn you about over-sized cuts on each product's webpage.
European-sized jerseys are about 1 to 1 1/2 times smaller than American sizing. Euro size jerseys are very trim, with much smaller chest, waist, and arm measurements.
